Full description
Small-dog gear is often just adult dog gear made smaller, which misses the point that a small dog needs different proportions altogether, not a scaled-down copy of something built for a bigger neck and a stronger pull.
Ancol's Small Bite range is designed around that difference: a collar and lead set built specifically for small dogs, with a sturdy nylon base, an adjuster buckle for a snug fit, a quick-release buckle, and a reflective Paw 'n' Bone appliqué stitched onto the nylon. The collar fits 20-30cm and the lead measures 1m by 10mm.
- Collar fits 20-30cm
- Lead measures 1m x 10mm
- Reflective appliqué for visibility in low light
- Adjuster buckle for fit, quick-release buckle for speed
- Sturdy metal D-ring and trigger hook
- Weather-proof nylon base
On sizing. This set comes in one collar size - 20-30cm - so it suits a genuinely small dog rather than being adjustable across a wider range. If your dog is toward the larger end of small, it's worth checking that 30cm is enough room before buying rather than assuming 'small dog' covers it.
Who it's for: owners of small dogs who want a matching collar and lead set rather than buying the two separately, and who like the added visibility of a reflective detail on early or late walks.

Why we chose it
A matching set is simpler to buy than pairing a collar and lead separately, and the reflective appliqué is a genuine safety feature rather than just decoration. It's a light parcel too, which keeps this an easy add to a bigger order.
