Hairless and fine-coated cats lose heat fast indoors, and they will tell you so by sitting on radiators and refusing to leave the airing cupboard. A double-layer fleece with a deep pile is the straightforward answer, trapping a layer of warm air against the skin, which is the only thing any garment can genuinely do. Two layers of fleece do the work, a fluffy outer pile over a soft inner face, with a ribbed roll neck and ribbed cuffs closing off the openings where warmth otherwise escapes.
