This blade is made for the KM Supera and the KMC+ — it is not a universal fitting, and a blade that does not match the machine is no use to anybody. Beyond that, the usual: keep it oiled, brush the hair out after every dog, and stop if it gets hot, because a hot blade burns skin faster than you would think. If it is pulling rather than cutting, it wants sharpening or replacing — pressing harder is how dogs learn to hate being groomed.

This is Wahl's Prime Series, made for the KM Supera Pet Clipper and the KMC+ Clippers. Every Prime blade is precision ground from solid high-carbon steel, and Wahl designed the range around a quick change system so a blade clips and unclips for maintenance or replacement without tools. They are grooved so they stay cool through longer grooming sessions, which is the practical difference on a day when you are doing more than one dog. Because they are solid metal, they can be re-sharpened several times before they need replacing.
