A scoop that flexes or cracks under a full load of clumped litter turns a ten-second job into a two-handed one, which is most of what separates a good scoop from a bad one.

This is the Giant size in Van Ness's litter scoop range, made from high-impact, BPA-free plastic with a high-polish finish that resists odour and staining. It's suitable for small to large-sized cat pans, and measures 13.25" H x 6.00" W x 2.50" D.

Only this size's measurements are on the card. This is the Giant scoop; a Regular size is also made, but its own dimensions aren't given to us here, so if a smaller scoop for a tighter storage spot matters more than scoop capacity, check that listing rather than assuming it's simply a smaller version of these figures.

Who it's for: owners with a multi-cat household or a larger litter pan who want a scoop that clears a full load in one pass rather than several smaller scoops.
