Cats do not much like sharing a dish. A note on placement. However many bowls you buy, keep them away from the litter tray and away from the water. Cats generally prefer to drink well apart from where they eat, and a water bowl set next to the food is the usual reason a cat drinks less than she should. Melamine is not microwave safe, so warm anything that needs warming in another dish first.
