Full description

A perch that has to be screwed in is one more job on top of setting up a cage, which is why a twist-and-fit design earns its keep on the smaller, more frequent jobs like this one.

This is the Supa Twist Perch in white, 10cm, designed to fit most small bird cages built for canaries, budgies, finches and small parakeets. It attaches by twisting the perch between the bars rather than needing any separate fitting.

Twist-fits between cage bars, no tools needed

Easy to clean

On matching it up: Supa don't publish a bar-spacing figure for this perch, so it's worth checking the gap between your own cage bars is a comfortable match for a twist fitting before you buy, rather than assuming every small-bird cage is built the same.

Who it's for: owners of canaries, budgies, finches and small parakeets who want an easy-fit perch without separate screws or brackets.

Why we chose it

A twist fitting means it goes in and comes out again in seconds, which matters when you're cleaning a cage regularly rather than setting it up once. At 10cm it's sized for the smaller birds this shop carries perches for, not larger parrots.
