Getting a toothbrush anywhere near most cats' mouths is a losing battle, which is the appeal of a dental product a cat will eat rather than tolerate.

ProDen PlaqueOff Crème delivers a full daily dose of A.N. ProDen — a natural seaweed ingredient — in a creamy, chicken-flavoured format rather than a brushed-on gel or a chew. ProDen describe it as the first creamy dental product for cats combining oral health benefits with a cat-approved taste. It is sold in packs of 6 or 30 doses.

• 30-count pack
• Full daily dose of A.N. ProDen (natural seaweed) per serving
• Creamy texture with chicken fillet flavour
• ProDen describe it as clinically shown to reduce plaque and tartar build-up
• ProDen's own taste test: approved by 9 out of 10 cats

On what it doesn't replace. This is a daily maintenance product, not a substitute for a vet dental check if your cat already has visible tartar, bad breath or is showing signs of mouth pain — ProDen don't position it as a treatment for existing dental disease, and neither do we.

Who it's for: cat owners who can't get a toothbrush near their cat's mouth and want a daily food-based routine instead.
