Specifications

Care: dishwasher safe
Brand: Moderna

Full description

A cat that flicks its bowl across the kitchen floor mid-meal isn't being fussy, it's usually just found a bowl light enough to move, which is the entire case for a stable base.

This double bowl holds two 350ml dishes side by side in a single moulded unit, decorated in Moderna's Cats in Love pattern. The stable base is designed to resist tipping, and the hollow surrounding the two dishes can be filled with water as a barrier against ants reaching the food. It's food-approved, non-slip and dishwasher safe for daily use.

Double bowl, 2 x 350ml (700ml total)
Stable, non-slip base
Surrounding hollow can be filled with water as an ant barrier
Food-approved plastic
Dishwasher safe
Dimensions: L 27 x W 16.5 x H 6 cm

One thing worth knowing. Moderna don't publish a weight limit or say what the bowl is made from beyond describing it as food-approved plastic, so if you're after a specific material spec beyond "dishwasher safe and food-approved," it isn't on this listing.

Who it's for: owners feeding wet and dry food side by side, or two cats sharing a feeding spot, who want one stable double bowl rather than two separate dishes that can slide apart.

Why we chose it

Two bowls in one moulded unit is genuinely more stable on a kitchen floor than two separate dishes, which slide apart the moment a cat leans on one. The ant-barrier hollow is a small detail, but it's the kind of thing that matters if you feed outdoors or leave food down for a while.
