Cats generally eat less and drink less at once than dogs do, so scaling a double bowl down properly means shrinking the capacity, not just the branding on the box.

This is the X-Small double dish in Moderna's range — two 200ml sections, 400ml combined, moulded into one BPA-free, 100% recyclable plastic tray with non-slip rubber feet, for serving food and water side by side. It measures 26.5 x 13.5 x 3.4cm and is dishwasher safe.

On which pets it suits. This is listed as Moderna's X-Small capacity and pitched at smaller pets, but no weight or breed range is published against that description — 400ml combined is generous for most cats' actual intake in one sitting, so it's really about tray footprint rather than portion size.

Who it's for: cat owners who want food and water together on one low, wide tray rather than two separate small bowls.
