Full description

Sifting litter is a balance between catching clumps and letting loose granules fall away without raising more dust than necessary.

The Moderna Scoop & Sift uses V-shaped blades to sift a large amount of litter in one scoop while limiting released dust. Its basket is shaped for reaching tray corners, and the top handle is positioned to keep the hand away from dirt and litter. It can hang directly on an open litter box.

The missing detail. The published information gives no overall dimensions, slot spacing or scoop capacity. It unexpectedly mentions use with dog and cat dry foods as well as litter; this page presents the documented construction without treating one scoop as a hygiene-safe tool for both jobs.

Who it's for: cat owners wanting a sifting basket that reaches tray corners and hangs on an open litter box between cleaning sessions.

Why we chose it

The V-shaped blades are the deciding detail because they explain how the scoop sifts. I also like the top-handle position, which keeps the holding point clear of the litter.
