Most of the litter on a bathroom floor did not get kicked out during the dig. It left on the cat, in the half-second of the jump out, which is why the back of a tray does more work than the sides of it.

This is an open tray with a raised back for that reason, and a removable rim that does two jobs. The rim clips down over a liner bag so the bag is held at the edges instead of being dragged into a corner by the first cat to use it, and it lifts straight off for washing. The pattern — a monstera leaf — is applied by In Mould Labelling, meaning the design goes into the plastic during moulding rather than being printed on top, which is why Moderna can describe it as scratch and UV proof rather than something that scrubs off. The plastic is stated as premium quality and BPA-free, and the whole thing cleans with warm soapy water.

No dimensions were supplied. None at all. No length, no width, no height and no cat-size guidance — which for a litter tray is the single most useful fact there is, and it is the one thing missing. If you have a large cat, or a specific gap beside the washing machine, measure the space and check the pack before committing. The parcel weight we hold is 0.86kg, which tells you it is a light moulded tray and nothing more. Worth being clear about the shape too: a raised back is not a hood. This does nothing about smell, and it gives a shy cat no privacy.

Who it's for: liner-bag users, anyone replacing a tray that has gone scratched and stained, and households where the litter tray is somewhere visible enough that what it looks like is part of the decision.
