Brand: Johnson'S
Material: 100% biodegradable, 100% compostable wipe material

Full description

Eyes and ears are two of the few places on a pet where the wrong wipe genuinely matters — a general-purpose cleaning wipe isn't formulated for tissue that sensitive, which is why a product made specifically for this job exists at all.

These are safe, gentle and hygienic wipes, specially formulated and pH balanced for eyes and ears, made from a material Johnson's describe as 100% biodegradable and 100% compostable. They come as a sachet of 30 wipes, for dogs, cats and small animals.

On what a wipe won't catch. These are for routine cleaning around the eyes and ears, not a treatment for an infection, a foreign body, or a genuinely painful ear or eye — anything beyond ordinary daily grime, discharge, or redness that doesn't clear is worth a vet visit rather than more wipes.

Who it's for: owners wanting an eco-conscious, pH-balanced option for regular eye and ear wipe-downs, particularly on breeds prone to tear staining or waxy ears.

Why we chose it

Being 100% biodegradable and compostable is a genuine point of difference in a category full of standard plastic-backed wipes. A sachet of 30 is also a sensible size to keep in a grooming bag without it going to waste.
