Specifications

Brand: Johnson's

Full description

Regular ear cleaning is one of those habits that pays off precisely because nothing seems to be happening — a well-maintained ear stays boring, which is the whole point, compared to one left to accumulate wax until it isn't.

This is an 18ml bottle for regular cleaning of the ears, softening and aiding the removal of wax and other debris from the ear canal. Johnson's describe it as antibacterial, and it's for cats and dogs.

What this isn't. This is a routine cleaner, not a treatment for an infection or mites — Johnson's don't give a specific use frequency here, so follow the bottle's own instructions, and an ear that's red, sore, smelly or clearly bothering your pet needs a vet rather than more frequent cleaning.

Who it's for: owners wanting a small bottle to build regular ear cleaning into a pet's grooming routine, rather than something to reach for once there's already a problem.

Johnson S Ear Cleanser

Why we chose it

18ml is a genuinely small bottle, which suits ear cleaning rather than a bigger multi-purpose size — a little goes a long way and you're not storing a large bottle for years. Being antibacterial as well as a wax softener covers two jobs from one product.
