Happy Pet Bird Cargo Net Small

A caged bird spends almost none of its life on the floor. It lives in the upper third of the cage and treats the bottom as the place husks fall to, which is why adding another perch at the same height as the existing ones changes very little. What changes things is surface a bird can move across rather than sit on.

This is a small climbing net, 35 x 35cm, made from 100% cotton with wooden blocks threaded into it for chewing. It fixes with carabiner clips, so it can go anywhere in the cage or be hung outside it altogether for out-of-cage time. Food can be pushed into the wooden blocks, which turns a climb into a reason to climb, and other toys or materials can be tied on to the net to build it into something bigger.

Cotton frays, and the mesh spacing has not been published. There is no mesh spacing given for this net and no list of the birds it suits, which matters more here than on most cage toys — a toe, a leg or a beak through a hole of the wrong size is how net toys go wrong, and only you can see how your bird's feet compare with the gaps. A cotton net will also fray as it gets used, and loose threads snag, so check it often and take it out of the cage at the first sign of it coming apart rather than the last. Nothing about washing it has been supplied either.
