Full description
A Sphynx has no coat to trap warm air, so the room temperature an ordinary cat finds comfortable is one a hairless cat will actively try to escape, pressing against radiators, burrowing under duvets and sitting on whoever happens to be warmest. A thickened fleece layer gives them some of that back without needing a lap. This one covers all four legs rather than just the back, which is where a hairless cat loses most.
Fleece is a sensible choice against bare skin because it has no coarse fibres and no rough seams to scratch, and the ribbed cuffs and collar hold the garment in place without needing to be tight anywhere. The four-leg cut stays put when a cat runs and climbs instead of riding up into a bunch at the shoulders. There is a side benefit too: a covered cat leaves less skin oil on sofas and bedding.
