Fleas lay eggs faster than most owners realise, which is why a treatment that only kills the adult flea on the cat can still leave a house re-infesting itself from eggs already dropped in the carpet. Frontline Plus is built to interrupt both stages rather than just the one you can see.

This pack contains 6 pipettes, giving roughly 6 months of monthly cover at the stated dosing interval. The active ingredients are fipronil and s-methoprene, applied as a spot-on from a single-use pipette: the applicator and foil backing are removed, held upright so the contents sit in the main body, the tip is snapped, and the product is applied to the skin. Boehringer Ingelheim state it can be applied to cats from 8 weeks of age weighing at least 1kg. It is not suitable for use on rabbits, and cats should not be bathed for 2 days after application.
