Full description

A tin's flavour name usually points at the smallest ingredient rather than the largest, and this one follows that pattern closely enough to be worth spelling out plainly.

This tin's composition is chicken (necks, viscera) at 44%, liver at 5% and haddock at 4%, plus minerals — haddock, the named flavour, is the smallest of the three. It comes out at protein 8.5%, fat content 5.5%, crude fibre 0.2%, crude ash 2% and moisture 82%, and is grain and gluten free, with taurine and other vitamins and minerals added per kg.

Why we chose it

We'd rather point out plainly that haddock is the smallest named ingredient here at 4%, with chicken doing the actual work at 44%, than let the tin's name do the talking. It's still a complete, grain and gluten free tin with taurine added, which is what matters for the cat eating it.
