Full description

Scooping a litter tray is easier with the right bag than the right scoop, since a bag that's too narrow means missed scoops and a mess round the tray rather than in it. Width and strength both matter more here than they do for a general bin liner.

Beco Bags' Eco Cat Poop Bags are extra-wide specifically to fit a scoop comfortably inside for cleaning, and Beco describe them as big, strong and leak-proof, with easy-tie handles for sealing once they're full. They're made from 94% post-consumer recycled plastic, which Beco frame as giving waste plastic another life rather than using new material.

Extra-wide, fits a litter scoop for easy cleaning
Leak-proof
Easy-tie handles
Made from 94% post-consumer recycled plastic
60 bags per pack

One thing worth knowing. These are aimed at soiled litter and general litter-tray waste rather than at bagging up a full tray change, so for a complete tray empty you may still want something larger.

Who it's for: owners doing regular litter-tray scooping who want a bag wide enough to work with a scoop, and would rather buy a recycled-plastic bag than a virgin-plastic one.

Why we chose it

Being made from 94% recycled plastic rather than new material is a genuine difference, not a marketing gloss, and it doesn't cost noticeably more for that. The extra width is also a small thing that actually changes how easy the daily scoop is.
