A cage tray lined with a fitted sheet only works if the sheet is actually the right size — too small and it leaves bare tray showing at the edges, which rather defeats the point of lining it at all.

These are Kagesan sand sheets cut to fit a 16" x 10" (40cm x 25cm) cage, sold as a pack of six. As with the smaller size in this range, the sanded surface helps wear down beaks and claws naturally as birds move across it.

• Fits 40cm x 25cm (16" x 10") cage floors
• Pack of six sheets
• Sanded surface helps wear down beaks and claws naturally
• Blue colourway
• Disposable, replace-rather-than-clean design

On the missing details. There is no paper weight or thickness figure supplied, so we cannot tell you how long a single sheet lasts under a specific bird's activity before it needs replacing. Measure your own tray against 40cm x 25cm first, since a sheet even slightly too small will not cover the floor properly.

Who it's for: owners of cage birds whose tray matches this larger 40cm x 25cm size, who would rather swap a sheet than scrub sand off a tray.
