Some cats eat as though the bowl is in the way, nudging food around the edge and brushing their whiskers against the sides. This Ancol dish uses a shallow, wide shape and curved edges to keep food in the middle and make access easier.

It is made from durable, food-safe ceramic that resists odours and bacteria, and it is dishwasher safe. The design is described as stable and tip-resistant and works with wet or dry food.

- Shallow, wide design - Curved edges keep food centred - Durable, food-safe ceramic - Dishwasher safe - Suitable for wet or dry food - Stable and tip-resistant design

What the label does not say. the maker does not provide the dish's diameter, depth or capacity, so there is no honest volume figure to use when comparing it with another bowl. The dish is described as suitable for food, but no separate cleaning method beyond dishwasher use is supplied.

Who it's for: owners of cats who prefer a shallow feeding surface, including flat-faced cats, and anyone wanting a ceramic dish for wet or dry food.
