Dry dog food subscription
Honestly: we do not currently run a running subscription service for dry dog food, where an order repeats automatically on a set schedule. It is something we are building towards, and you can register your interest on a product page so we can tell you when repeat deliveries open. In the meantime, every dry food on the site can be bought as a one-off order, and there is a genuine way to compare value between bags in the meantime.
What we offer today
Every dry dog food on the site is available to buy as a single order, delivered once rather than on a recurring schedule. If you want to be told the moment a repeat-delivery option opens for a particular food, there is a way to register interest on that product's page — it is a genuine notification list, not a marketing sign-up, and it only tells you about the food you asked about.
We are building towards a proper repeat-delivery option because plenty of owners have asked for one, but we would rather launch it working properly than announce it early and have it fall short. Registering interest is the way to make sure you hear about it as soon as it does.
How to judge value without a subscription discount
Price per kilogram is the honest starting point, and it is worth working out yourself rather than trusting a bag's headline price, because a smaller bag of the same food is almost always more expensive per kilogram than a larger one.
Price per kilogram alone can still mislead you, though, because foods vary in how energy-dense they are. A more calorie-dense food means smaller daily portions, so a slightly pricier bag per kilogram can end up cheaper per day if your dog needs noticeably less of it to feel full. The feeding guide on the bag, weighed against your dog's actual weight, is the way to work that out properly.
Buying the largest bag size you can realistically use before it goes stale is usually the simplest genuine saving available right now, alongside choosing a food that suits your dog's size and activity level rather than always reaching for whatever looks cheapest on the shelf.
What to do while you wait
If you already know which food suits your dog, ordering the largest practical bag size and setting yourself a reminder to reorder before it runs out gets you most of the convenience of a subscription without waiting for us to build one.
Register your interest on the product page for anything you would want on a repeat schedule — that is genuinely how we will decide which foods to prioritise when the feature does launch.

Common questions
- Does Giddy Pets offer a dog food subscription?
- Not yet. Every dry food can be bought as a one-off order, and we are working towards a repeat-delivery option. You can register interest on a product page to be told as soon as it launches for that food.
- Is a bigger bag of dry dog food always better value?
- Usually, per kilogram, as long as your dog will get through it before it goes stale. Check the price per kilogram on each bag size rather than assuming the largest is automatically the cheapest option overall.
- How do I compare value between two different dry foods?
- Look at price per kilogram first, then check the feeding guide against your dog's weight, because a more calorie-dense food needs smaller daily portions. A pricier bag per kilogram can still work out cheaper per day if your dog eats noticeably less of it.
- Will registering interest sign me up to marketing emails?
- No. Registering interest on a product page only adds you to a notification for that specific food's availability, not to a general marketing list. You will only hear about the thing you asked about.
