Arden Grange Sensitive dog food
Arden Grange Sensitive is a limited-ingredient dry dog food range, built around a single named protein and a shorter ingredient list than the brand's standard recipes. We stock a selection from the Sensitive range, alongside the wider Arden Grange catalogue.
Why a limited-ingredient recipe
The Sensitive range sits alongside Arden Grange's wider dry food catalogue, aimed specifically at dogs who react to certain ingredients rather than at every dog. Keeping the recipe to a single named protein and fewer additional ingredients makes it easier to identify what a dog is actually reacting to if a sensitivity is suspected.
This is a genuinely different approach to the brand's standard recipes rather than a repackaged version of the same food, and it is worth choosing deliberately for a dog with a known or suspected sensitivity rather than as a general upgrade.
What we stock, and who it suits
Our range includes a selection from Arden Grange Sensitive. We carry a slice of the wider range rather than every recipe and pack size, and what shows in the grid above is what is currently available to order.
It suits dogs with a known or suspected sensitivity to a particular ingredient, and owners working through an elimination process with their vet who need a consistent, limited-ingredient food to feed while they identify the cause.
Introducing it properly
Switch onto a limited-ingredient food gradually, mixing it into whatever your dog currently eats and increasing the proportion over a week or so, since a sudden change can itself cause loose stools that muddy the picture if you are trying to identify a sensitivity.
Feed the new recipe on its own for a proper trial period rather than alongside treats or scraps that could contain the very ingredient you are trying to rule out — a genuine elimination trial only works if nothing else is going into the bowl.

Common questions
- How do I know if my dog needs a sensitive dry food?
- Signs like ongoing itching, ear infections or loose stools can point to a food sensitivity, but they can also have other causes. Speak to your vet before assuming a change of food will fix it, since a proper elimination process usually needs their guidance.
- Will a limited-ingredient food definitely stop my dog's symptoms?
- Not necessarily — it depends on whether the ingredient causing the reaction has actually been removed, which is why an elimination process guided by your vet is more reliable than switching foods on a guess.
- Does Giddy Pets stock the whole Arden Grange Sensitive range?
- No, we stock a selection rather than every recipe and pack size. What is shown in the grid above is what we currently have available to order, and that can change as stock does.
- Can I feed treats alongside a sensitive food trial?
- It is better not to, at least during a genuine elimination trial, since a treat containing the ingredient you are trying to rule out will undo the point of the exercise. Ask your vet what is safe to feed alongside the trial if your dog needs training rewards.
