Choosing within the range

Weekend feeding blocks are worth keeping in mind if you are ever away for a couple of days, since they release food slowly rather than dumping it all in one go.
Water treatments are usually a smaller but still important purchase alongside food — something like a dechlorinator matters every time you do a water change, not just occasionally, so it is worth having on hand rather than buying it reactively.

- Do I need a water treatment product as well as fish food?
