Is Halti good for dogs?

What Halti products actually do well

Where it doesn't fit as well
A head collar introduced badly, put straight onto a dog and used on a full walk without any prior practice, can genuinely put a dog off wearing one, pawing at their face or resisting the walk altogether. It needs a proper, gradual introduction with reward to work as intended, which takes a bit more effort than clipping on a standard collar and heading out.
It's also not the right tool for every dog or every problem, a dog that lunges at other dogs out of fear, for instance, needs behavioural work alongside any equipment change, not a head collar as a standalone fix. Equipment can support training; it doesn't replace it.
Getting the most out of one
A slow, reward-based introduction genuinely changes how well a Halti works in practice, letting your dog wear it for short, positive periods indoors before it's ever clipped to a lead for a real walk makes a noticeable difference to how comfortable they are with it long term.
