Simple Solution: what the range is for
Simple Solution is a house-training and clean-up brand built around one job: dealing with the mess a puppy, an adult dog or a cat leaves behind, and stopping them going back to the same spot. We don't run a curated reviews page for the brand, so here's what the range is for and what we currently have in stock.
What Simple Solution actually makes
The range splits into two jobs. One half is training pads, pad holders and puppy training sprays, aimed at housetraining a puppy or managing a dog who can't always get outside in time. The other half is stain and odour removers, urine destroyers and fabric fresheners, built to break down the enzymes in urine that make an animal return to the same spot.
That enzyme point matters more than it sounds. A carpet that smells fine to a person can still smell strongly of urine to a dog or cat, and a general household cleaner often masks the smell rather than removing what's causing it. Products built specifically to break down pet urine and mess are doing a different job to a bottle of surface spray.
What we stock, and who it suits
Our range includes training pads and a pad holder for puppies who are mid housetraining, a puppy training spray meant to encourage a puppy back to the same designated spot, and separate stain and odour removers formulated for dog mess and cat mess rather than one generic product for both. There are also washable training pads for a longer-term or reusable option, and a chew stopper spray for dogs who target furniture or cables while young.
This suits an owner actively housetraining a puppy, managing an older dog with occasional accidents, or dealing with a specific mark left by a cat or dog rather than trying to prevent every future accident with one product. What we stock is a selection from the wider Simple Solution range rather than every product the brand makes, and that can change as availability does.

Common questions
- Does Giddy Pets have Simple Solution reviews?
- Not as a dedicated reviews page for the brand — we don't currently run a review roundup for every range we stock. If a product carries customer reviews on its own page, those are genuine, but for a brand-wide verdict this page describes what the range does rather than quoting scores we haven't collected.
- Is Simple Solution safe to use on carpets and furniture?
- The products are designed for use on carpets, upholstery and hard floors, but always check the label of the specific product first, particularly on delicate fabrics, and test an inconspicuous patch before treating a visible area if you're at all unsure about colourfastness.
- What's the difference between a stain and odour remover and a urine destroyer?
- Both are built to break down urine rather than just mask it, and in practice the naming varies more than the job does. Check the specific product's label for the surface and mess type it's formulated for, since a dog-specific and cat-specific version can differ slightly in formulation.
- Will training pads work for an older dog, not just a puppy?
- Yes, training pads aren't only for puppies. They're commonly used for older dogs with reduced mobility or bladder control, and for any dog who can't always get outside in time, not exclusively as a housetraining tool for young animals.
