That protein figure looks startling next to a tin of food and it should not: dried meat and dried hide are both close to pure protein once the water has been driven off, and the 15% moisture is the number that explains it. The 2% fat is the genuinely useful one on a day when a dog is being handed things all afternoon.

A third of this treat is rawhide. The front of the pack leads with 100% natural chicken breast meat, which is true of the chicken, and the chicken is 60%. The other 33% is the hide stick the meat is wrapped around, and plenty of people who would happily feed dried chicken specifically avoid rawhide. The pack asks for it to be given under supervision on a non-stainable surface, and for the twist to be slightly larger than your dog's mouth, which is the standard and sensible advice for any chew of this shape. If rawhide is a no in your house, this is a no.
