Is orange safe for dogs?

Dried orange is here at 2% as a flavour. Citrus flesh is not toxic to dogs, though a whole orange would upset most stomachs. Two percent of a 150g bag is not a whole orange.

How is this different from the sausages?

The maker describes their slices as chopped sausages. Same recipe, cut small, so you get training-sized pieces out of the bag rather than having to break a stick up.

My dog is on a low-fat diet. Can he have these?

Probably not. The published fat figure is 32.2%, which is high. Ask your vet, and look at the turkey and cranberry option instead.

Is it really duck, or duck flavour?

Duck is 60% of the recipe and chicken is 20%, so it is 80% poultry. Both are named on the label, which is worth checking on any treat sold as a single meat.

Is it grain free?

Yes. Sweet potato is the only carbohydrate on the list.
